wanna fly?!

so our flight out to lubbock was easy and problem free. it was coming back to dallas that was a challenge! on thursday, when we flew back home, the weather in dallas was not good. our flight was delayed about an hour, no big deal. so we get on the plane, fly for an hour and a half (should be a 45 minute flight) and land back in lubbock! it was crazy. luckily we were able to get off the plane but they did not know when we would be able to leave again. there were a couple of predicaments we found ourselves in, but kamdyn did soooo good. i am so thankful that she is such a good baby. it probably helps that she is so young and can still sleep a lot. i am also thankful i have a changing pad in my diaper bag since i did not have any blankets with me. i was able to put it out on the nasty airport floor and let her lay there for a while for a change of pace (see below). also, everyone in lubbock and on the plane was so nice and helpful. i could not believe how many people - men, women, young, old - offered to help me and wanted to make sure i was okay with the baby. it was very refreshing. anyway - we finally made it home 5 hours later. kamdyn had a huge blowout in the car ride home and all i could do was thank the lord that it did not happen on the plane!!!
