yikes ike!

unfortunately our friends, the andrews, had to evacuate because of ike. lucky for us, we got to spend some time together when they stayed with us for a couple of days! their house is okay, but they will not have power for a few weeks. we had a fun few days with a house full of little girls! it was so nice to see them again and i am so happy that they got to meet kyler! here are a few photos from our time together:

this was so cute - just a couple of minutes after they arrived, kamdyn and ainslea just sat down and started reading to one another. they are only 5 weeks apart - it was really fun to watch them play!

kamdyn, ainslea & aubrey went on some adventures through the bushes in our backyard. it was cute and funny but we could hardly see them!

aubrey has such a sweet spirit. she is very thoughtful and such a good big sis. kamdyn needs to take big sister lessons from her! here she is with her set up.

it was so nice that they watched kyler for me on tuesday morning so i could drop kamdyn off at preschool - it was amazing how much easier it was without a stroller!

we are so thankful for our time spent with the andrews. we are sad for their situation with the storm, but glad we got to see them. i have a lot to learn about being a good mommy and i had a great example living with me for a few days! i only wish they lived closer so we could see each other more often and our girls could be great friends. we love y'all!
