the things we do for our kids.

we really want kamdyn to get into the 3 day 3-year-old program for preschool next year and it just so happens that so do a lot of other parents! registration started at 6:00 a.m. on monday morning. so guess what time we got there? 7:45 p.m. sunday night. that's right. an all night camp-out for pre-school. and i was number 36! i think there's someone that got there at 3:00 p.m.!!! it was nice to have friends there to hang out with and the church was nice enough to open the doors at midnight this year so we could actually go inside and not freeze to death! so we only had to sit outside for 4 hours and then we went inside for the rest of the time. we had our sleeping bags but i won't really classify "sleep" as something that was accomplished.

luckily having friends there made the time pass much more quickly and we actually had some good conversations. tasha and i are just praying that isabel and kamdyn get into the same class again next year. we will be SO SAD if they are not.

needless to say - we did get our spots! and kyler got in the 2-day two year old class. so i guess it was worth it. :)
