bring on the boys!

well - we have survived the first full day of having 2 boys in our house!  it is really a lot of fun!  kamdyn & nathan play so well together and preston and kyler are like the easiest babies EVER.  and i must say - it is VERY cute to look back from the driver's seat in the suburban and see all those cute kids fillin' up the car!  we went to church this morning and they all did great and had a lot of fun.  everyone took good naps today and then we went to toys-r-us and tin star (kids eat free!)  we got a lot of looks from people wondering if all these kids were ours.  we just pretended that they were.  :)  here are a few pics from the day:

love this! this was just before we put the little ones down tonight. we did not put these kids here...kyler climbed up in the seat and then preston joined her.  they were just sitting there doing puzzles.  cracked me up!

random iPhone pics

i had to get my iPhone replaced today (and by "get" i mean pay too much money).  after i got my new one i was worried that all the pics would not be on there or for some reason i thought they would not sync from my old one.  so, when i got home i synced it and sure enough they were there.  but i decided to go ahead and save them on my computer, which i've never done for some reason.  and i was laughing looking through some of them. so i though i'd share.  :)  there is no particular order or time frame on these.  just thought i could post!

kyler thought she was pretty funny yesterday in the car when she got her snack trap on her foot.  she laughed.  i took this while driving down the tollway - probably not a good idea.

that's right - kyler got pig tails the other day!  it is really funny but cute!

this is a scene we often see...especially when we make her miss her morning nap.  which is more often than it should be!

this is what i saw one day when i was washing dishes and kamdyn said, "wook mommy, wook."  she thinks it's so funny and poor kyler laughs.  one of these days kyler is going to turn around and beat this child!

LOL - tasha & i were laughing pretty hard on this one.  we were at the mall one day letting the girls play and they just laid down right there in the middle of the play area.  for a few minutes!  it was pretty funny.

this is a good one to close with - we saw this woman at sea world and could not pass up a photo op.  i mean, really?  is she wearing that?  in public?  really?

lake brownwood

we had the best time this past weekend at lake brownwood!  the creswell's invited us out so i could take their family photos and it was so much fun!  the kids LOVED the slip-n-slide, loved riding on the boat, riding the tube and kamdyn enjoyed the jet ski's with daddy!  i did not take my camera on the boat, so these are the photos i got.  

kyler flew off the end of the slip-n-slide and did a face plant her first time!  i can't believe she wanted to do it again, but she LOVED it!!!  it was so cute!

i can't even begin to explain how much fun we had with this cake smash!  kyler did awesome and kamdyn just watched and giggled - it was so adorable.  what a fun way to celebrate kyler's first birthday!!!  

and what about this amazing cake?!  a big, fat thanks to meredith at cakes by auntie m for making this special cake for kyler!  she does beautiful work and if you can believe it, they taste even better than they look!  THANK YOU, MEREDITH!

kyler's birthday party!!!

considering poor kamdyn didn't even have a birthday party this year, kyler should consider herself lucky.  :)  just kidding.  we had a great time last weekend at kyler's birthday party!  it was just family and just perfect!  we missed ken, lindsey, jason, nathan, preston and grayson.  but everyone else was there and we are so grateful!  i can't believe it's been a year since our little sweetie was born!  isn't she just presh?!

even though we did an actual cake-smash the day before her birthday (pictures will come soon) we still had to have another mini-smash at her actual party!  she enjoyed it and knew just what to do since she had practiced a few days earlier!

opening gifts - we had a few helpers but kyler was happy to dig in, too!

kamdyn was dying to hold baby hayden!  so cute and sweet.  isn't hayden a doll?!  we think she looks JUST LIKE kamdyn when she was that age.  it's so cool to look at pictures!  everyone always said that kamdyn could be lara's baby, so i guess it makes sense!

san diego

zack and i had the chance to go to san diego this past week and it was awesome!!!  first of all - THANK YOU  to cari who so willingly watched our kids for us!  again!  by herself.  THANK YOU!!!  the girls had a great time with austin & brooke and i'm sure a & b are glad to have their house back to themselves!  thank you, so much, cari!

so we really did not take too many pictures.  we didn't take my camera with us a lot of the time so here's a little of what we did.  it was very relaxing and the weather was amazing.  we wanted to stay outside as much as possible!  i want to go back SOON!

playing golf at steele canyon.  it was gorgeous.  it actually got kinda toasty that day but it was so great to be out there playing.  the guy we played with took these for us.  

i had to get a picture of our smurf-mobile!  i really wanted a jeep or convertible of some sort and here's what we got!  a bright blue mustang convertible!  it was awesome though - we had the top down as much as possible!

we had to find a wal-mart to get some beach towels so we could go to the beach!  i guess we've always stayed at resorts or stayed right on the beach when we've gone.  we didn't really think about needing beach gear!  but i'm glad we did - it was so beautiful and we LOVE the beach!!!  this was at coronado island.  we checked out the hotel del coronado, which is amazing.  

i just love these pics!  we were SO EXCITED to meet sue and her family for dinner one night.  they took us to an awesome mexican food restaurant called las osas (i think!).  it was so good and it was on solana beach, which was so pretty.  we hung out with them at the beach after dinner and thankfully sue had her camera.  so she got some shots of us together.  after we left it was getting darker and colder!  we pulled over to put the top on the car and i just had to get my camera from the trunk - the sky looked amazing over the beach!!!
