today was kamdyn's fall party at pre-school.  she has fun with all her little school friends!

fall festival

the girls had the BEST time at the fall festival on friday night!  there were so many fun games, bounce houses and even a puppet show!  we went with our good friends, maren & ella.  the girls always love to be around them and they were the prettiest little princesses!  after we were there an hour or so kyler just decided she wanted to walk, walk, walk!  she has been taking steps for about a week now and it is adorable!  and she is always so proud!  i think she is looking so old these days - 15 months!!!

hilton head

we got to go to hilton head a couple of weeks ago to celebrate annie's 60th bday!  (annie = zack's mom).  anyway - it was so beautiful and we had a wonderful time!  the beach is just amazing and we were staying in a house that was just a quick walk to the beach.  it was a great get away and a fun time spent with family!  kamdyn and kyler loved the beach...although it took kyler about a day to get used to not being able to suck her thumb w/ all that sand!  here are just a few of the MANY pictures i took....

fall is upon us

i can't believe halloween is right around the corner!  how is it almost the end of sept?  it does not feel like fall yet b/c it's still so HOT around this joint!  we have enjoyed the rain over the past week and the cooler weather.  i am ready for jeans weather!!!

first day of preschool (FINALLY!!!)

seriously - i think our preschool is the last school on the planet to start.  anyway - kamdyn was SOOO excited to go to school today.  these pics are not good, but it's all i got!  weird faces in all but oh well.  kamdyn has been so pumped and ever since "meet the teacher" last week she has not stopped asking about her teachers, mrs. carey & mrs. suzanne.  i am sure today was a good day...i am curious to go pick her up!  and of course sweet kyler needed to be in a pic!  we went to her gym class after we dropped kamdyn off and she is having a great day too!

we miss them already!!!

i really can't believe the boys are already gone!  we took them to meet their nana & pawpaw today around lunch time.  i guess kamdyn did not understand that they were not coming back after they got out of the car b/c she cried for them all the way home!  it was so sad.  we have had the BEST week and such great quality time with our cousins!!!  here are some pics from this morning.  they all had fun just playing around the house this morning and kyler even got a little morning nap for the first time all week!

this is funny b/c of kyler.  i was trying to get all 4 of them in a pic - kamdyn & nathan sat right down, preston wanted nothing to do with is and kyler was clueless but happy to have the phone.

mmmhhhmmm.  that's right.  if he had access to a hair dryer or flat iron he would have been doing that too.

there were def some great quotes from nathan this week.  here are a couple of my faves:

"hey hay-a-wee.  did you know this?  i can't fly."

"hey hay-a-wee.  can we listen to the black eyed peas?"

i'm sure i'll think of some more.  if nathan was ever upset or screaming i would come to the room to find kamdyn either laying on top of him or trying to pull him off of whatever he was sitting on.  she was a little instigator, that is for sure.

oh - also, jason called to talk to nathan this morning and nathan told him he wants to move here.  when jason said they can't nathan was practically in tears.  he was sad the rest of the conversation.  it was great-ness.
