kyler's birthday eve

we can't believe it's here! it really does NOT feel like we are going to have the honor of bringing kyler into this world tomorrow! we are very excited and a little anxious. i go into the hospital at 10am and then my surgery is scheduled for noon. hopefully this experience will be a lot better than my birth experience with kamdyn! i am really feeling great and can't believe it's time. i have not had the swelling i had with kamdyn and thank goodness i am not as HUGE! don't get me wrong - this belly of mine is def huge. but not gaining as much weight has been wonderful!

so here's a pic of my belly from tonight. the last belly pic i took of kamdyn was the night before we had her (little did i know). so i thought we should do the same for kyler. i have been wearing this shirt all through my pregnancy and loving it b/c it covers me. well, not anymore! i actually only have like 2 shirts that cover the entire belly now. it's not pretty.

and here are some pics of the nursery...finally! luckily, we loved the way our guest room was painted so we left it exactly the same. there are still some finishing touches but this is the basic idea. we are going to put her name above the clothes line, paint the gold on the shelf pink and do a couple other things. thanks to my mom who is going to do most of this while she's staying with us! oh, we are also getting a different chair...this is the one from kamdyn's room but it's going to go back to kamdyn. we just needed a filler. :)

anyway - hopefully we'll be able to update the blog from the hospital. if not - as soon as we get home! stand by!










oh, and kamdyn absolutely LOVES getting in kyler's crib. she goes crazy. then she pretends like she wants us to get her out, when we go to pick her up she jumps to her belly and acts like she's going to sleep. it's really funny!
