there's nothing like a last minute getaway! on thursday night around 9pm we decided we wanted (needed) to get out of town for the weekend. we found a great hotel in rockwall - only a short drive from frisco. it was perfect! right on the lake and connected to a bunch of restaurants and shops. we had a great time and it was so nice to be somewhere else for a couple of days. here are a few pics from our trip.

kamdyn LOVED going on the balcony. also, the lock on the door did not work so she went out whenever she pleased.
not sure how kyler felt in her little bikini, but she looked cute!
we spent the days at the pool, which kamdyn loved!
mommy & daddy switched off swimming with kamdyn and holding kyler.
we did not use the stroller all weekend. we had kamdyn walk everywhere and i took kyler in the sling. i love this thing!
i don't think she minded it too much either!
there were lots of pretty fountains - kamdyn loved all of them!
as usual, she can't resist the temptation to touch the water and try to get in.
throwing pennies in the fountain was a fun new thing.
the 2nd night we were there she was running to me, fell and hit her head on a cement step. it was horrible! we put ice on it for a little while and she was all smiles again after a while. it was a scary moment and she has a huge goose egg right on the middle of her head to prove it!
the sunsets were really pretty over the lake!
