toys & naps

kamdyn loves this mirror! she will just stare at herself and talk and talk. it's really cute and she gets so excited. i think she likes the colors and also likes to look at the baby staring back at her!



once she falls asleep while i'm holding her, i'll put her on her stomach for naps. it cracks me up when she sticks her booty up like this.

back to church

we finally went back to church a couple of weeks ago and kamdyn has done so great in the nursery both times we've gone.

wanna fly?!

so our flight out to lubbock was easy and problem free. it was coming back to dallas that was a challenge! on thursday, when we flew back home, the weather in dallas was not good. our flight was delayed about an hour, no big deal. so we get on the plane, fly for an hour and a half (should be a 45 minute flight) and land back in lubbock! it was crazy. luckily we were able to get off the plane but they did not know when we would be able to leave again. there were a couple of predicaments we found ourselves in, but kamdyn did soooo good. i am so thankful that she is such a good baby. it probably helps that she is so young and can still sleep a lot. i am also thankful i have a changing pad in my diaper bag since i did not have any blankets with me. i was able to put it out on the nasty airport floor and let her lay there for a while for a change of pace (see below). also, everyone in lubbock and on the plane was so nice and helpful. i could not believe how many people - men, women, young, old - offered to help me and wanted to make sure i was okay with the baby. it was very refreshing. anyway - we finally made it home 5 hours later. kamdyn had a huge blowout in the car ride home and all i could do was thank the lord that it did not happen on the plane!!!

lubbock

kamdyn and i got to go to lubbock to visit her cousin nate (18 months) and lindsey & jason. we had the best time! nathan was so sweet with kamdyn (and SO cute!) and looooved to give her kisses! kamdyn did so good on her first plane ride! baby bjorn - great invention! here are some pics of some of the fun we had this week!

aunt lara & uncle chris came to visit kamdyn this weekend - we are so happy they were in town and finally bought a house! after living on the east coast and then the west coast for the past year and a half, it is finally time for them to get back to texas! chris has been calling kamdyn "the kid" but now he is referring to her as "bird legs." we don't care which one as long as they hurry up and get here!

yes, that's right...our daughter has on the same outfit as violet affleck. in this week's issue of us weekly (best celeb junkie mag) check out pg. 24 for violet trying to look like kamdyn. even though violet is a really cute celeb baby, you have to admit that this outfit looks cuter on kamdyn....am i right?!

oh yeah...

so we just realized this weekend that we do not have any pictures of all three of us as a family...what the heck? so anyway, here's our little family and a couple of other cute pics of kamdyn.
